They asked us to produce an online catalogue that would allow the public to see all of the products, but not the prices. Opticians would  be able to log-in and see prices and place orders online. Of course it also had to allow Pro-Optic to add new frames and delete discontinued frames themselves through a user-friendly interface. Using a php based shopping cart as the engine, we transformed the terminology, categories and permission levels to achieve Pro-Optics aims.  All trace of the traditional cart has been removed to create the right tone for this professional market. 19 Dozen also created all the branding and themes for each range.

They asked us to replicate a bespoke shopping cart system that had many non-standard features, such as and Abandoned Basket - which lets you see contents of an abandoned basket and contact the shopper with a special offer. All this on a very tight budget and with lots of customisation. The system works extremely well and Lemontree are very pleased with new features they have also gained. The site has been optimised by product and category plus a back-linking campaign has been initiated.  This is a high performing website with a substantial turnover.
