Piccadilly Backpackers is a multi-lingual website for international backpackers who want to stay in London. With accomodation from just £12 /night its easy to see why people want to book online.

Set in the heart of London (50 yrds from the Sanyo billboard in Piccadilly), this backpackers hotel is the first of several revamps for the Aaran Group.
Using a complex CMS 19 Dozen used a central core with 6 hubsites sharing the core. This allows the language variations while keeping a central core for security patches and version updates.

From a design perspective the brief asked for a young and vibrant ‘party atmosphere’, integratimng Facebook, Twitter and Flickr enables Piccadilly Backpacker to update all their blogs from a single point.

19Dozen’s senior designer originally created the logo and has now added a London skyline (see foot of home page) to compliment the brand. Piccadilly were so pleased with the results they asked us to design: stationery, key cards, mugs and T shirts and a 50 foot electronic billboard banner as well.

Brinkywell Cottages

Brinkywell and Brinkyelm are adjoining Cornish holiday cottages set remotely in the tiny village of Hellandbridge on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The brief was to produce a professional looking website that allows visitors to fully appreciate the charms of this accommodation. The site contains a php booking calendar, basic SEO and has been registered with leading holiday portals.

Lemontree Wholesale came to 19Dozen after suffering large amounts of downtime with their current host provider. They asked us to replicate a bespoke shopping cart system that had many non-standard features, such as and Abandoned Basket - which lets you see contents of an abandoned basket and contact the shopper with a special offer. All this on a very tight budget and with lots of customisation. The system works extremely well and Lemontree are very pleased with new features they have also gained. The site has been optimised by product and category plus a back-linking campaign has been initiated. This is a high performing website with a substantial turnover.

From an amazing cabinet maker who has turned his hand to equine products. Tack Tidy show cases the first of a range of stunning new hand made Tack Room equipment – The horse bandage box.
The site was quickly put together in 2 days to cover an advertisement to launch the product. Once sales have established the product a more sophisticated e-commerce package will be developed.

The initial site has basic SEO for the term ‘horse bandage box’ and ‘horse bandage boxes’.
