Piccadilly Backpackers is a multi-lingual website for international backpackers who want to stay in London. With accomodation from just £12 /night its easy to see why people want to book online.
Set in the heart of London (50 yrds from the Sanyo billboard in Piccadilly), this backpackers hotel is the first of several revamps for the Aaran Group.
Using a complex CMS 19 Dozen used a central core with 6 hubsites sharing the core. This allows the language variations while keeping a central core for security patches and version updates.

From a design perspective the brief asked for a young and vibrant ‘party atmosphere’, integratimng Facebook, Twitter and Flickr enables Piccadilly Backpacker to update all their blogs from a single point.
19Dozen’s senior designer originally created the logo and has now added a London skyline (see foot of home page) to compliment the brand. Piccadilly were so pleased with the results they asked us to design: stationery, key cards, mugs and T shirts and a 50 foot electronic billboard banner as well.
